International STUDY AND CAREERS consulting
Before you commit to a master’s degree abroad or a move to another country, it’s worth making sure the plan actually works for you.
Most people start preparing for a postgraduate program, a visa process, or an international career move without ever stopping to check whether the path they’ve chosen is realistic — given their background, their timeline, and what they’re actually trying to achieve. The result is usually a lot of time and money spent on things that don’t end up working out.
What I offer
I work with professionals who have a specific international plan in mind and want an honest, structured assessment of whether it’s viable before they commit to it.
In a single focused session, we look at what you’re planning, what your profile looks like, and what would actually need to happen for that plan to work. You leave with a clear picture of where you stand, what the real obstacles are, and what to prioritize next.
This is not a general information session. It’s an analysis of your situation, built around the specific country, program, or pathway you’re considering.
What we cover?
Depending on your plans, the session can address:
-
Whether your chosen route is realistic given your current profile
-
What specific requirements apply, visas, degree recognition, licensing, language
-
What preparation you’d actually need and how long it realistically takes
-
What the process would cost and what the main risks are
-
What to do first, and what to hold off on
Who this is for?
This is most useful for professionals who are seriously considering one of the following:
-
A master’s or PhD abroad: LLM, MBA, research programs, or professional degrees, mainly in the US, Ireland, or the UK
-
An international career move or professional requalification in another country
-
Longer-term relocation or immigration, whether temporary or permanent
-
Remote work from abroad, and what that means practically and legally
How it works?
A focused, three-part process designed to give you clarity and a clear path forward:
-
You fill in a short intake questionnaire before we meet, so the session time goes straight to what matters
-
We talk for 90 – 120 minutes online, going through your plan and what it would realistically take to execute it
-
Afterwards I send you a written summary with the main conclusions and concrete next steps (if you need further support we can agree on this separately)
Testimonials
I cannot recommend Julian highly enough for his exceptional support during my last-minute LL.M. application process. Deciding to apply less than two months before the deadline was daunting, but Julian’s dedication and expertise made all the difference. He stepped in and provided invaluable guidance, helping me navigate through every step with efficiency and clarity. Julian’s ability to manage tight timelines and his thorough understanding of the application process were key to getting everything ready on time. Thanks to his unwavering support and commitment, I was accepted into the universities I aimed for, including my top choice, Columbia Law School. If you’re looking for someone who is not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in your success, Julian is the person you want by your side. I’m incredibly grateful for his help and highly recommend him to anyone facing a challenging application process.

Julian’s work was absolutelly fundamental during my LLM application Journey. He was always very reachable and friendly troughout the whole process. He helped me select the courses that would be more aligned with my professional goals and career, he coached me trough the application processes of all diferente schools and did a very thorough review of all the documents I had to submitt, such as personal statements, letters and things like that. I was accepted in Leiden University to pursue an Advanced Masters in International Children’s Rights. This was my school of choice since the very beggining and I was able to acheive it with Julian’s help. I am grateful to his work, his patience and his support in this process. I could not have made a better choice.
I have been working with Julian for many years, and I feel absolutely comfortable recommending him to anyone interested in advancing their career, particularly in an international context. As my educational consultant, Julian has proofread numerous texts for me, including an article published in one of the most prestigious journals in my area of law (Max Planck’s IIC). His feedback was essential in securing acceptance of my work by peer reviewers. Julian has also supported me in other areas of my professional development, including presentation training for international audiences and guidance throughout my master’s application process, which resulted in acceptance offers from most British universities I applied to. Incidentally, the university I ultimately enrolled in, the University of Glasgow, awarded me a generous scholarship, as my application stood out among others. In short, Julian has been a significant asset to my career, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking to thrive professionally in an international environment.
